A few thousand of you!

A few thousand of you!

After all this time sharing my work with you guys and celebrating few thousand of you, I figured maybe, a formal introduction was overdue. So here’s a few cakey facts about me. I’m the sweets obsessed,  29 year old,  one-woman show behind TAMID Bakery.  I have been food and baking obsessed since before I can remember.  From easy bake oven to brownies in a box, food network magazines and cooking shows, it was all I could think of growing up. To be honest I’m quite the contradictory balance between a perfectionist and a total hot mess. Yes, it’s true, but honestly I gotta say I credit both with helping me to develop my skills and what’s becoming my baking style.

Who knows me well know my baking tunes are a steady rotation of The Lumineers, ABBA, The Beattles, Mumford and Sons and the occasional off season Chrismas Songs from Michael Buble (one of my greatest guilty pleasures).

COFFEE… my reason to wake up, to go to sleep, to walk, to talk, you get the idea at this point. I can have coffee in every possible way but if you ask me, extra shot, non fat , no whipped cream Pumpkin Spice Latte is my way to heaven.

I LOVE MY JOB, this business scares absolutely the crap out of me but it also fires me up and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  One of the best thing that has happened to me since starting this adventure has been the support of you guys.

Like everyone knows these last couple of years, clearly have been a rollercoaster of emotions, so much has happened and keeps happening. But one thing I know for sure in this uncertain times is that I am fortunate enough to spend my days making delicious sweets, treats and cakes for some of the biggest, and most important events in my client’s lives.  I like to think that I’m one of the lucky ones, to have found, so early in life exactly what sets my heart on fire. I adore what I do, and I can only hope that this shows in every single little thing I do.  I’m committed and look forward to continuing making sweet dreams a reality one client at a time.

Later on will tell you exactly how I got here… to owning TAMID Bakery.

All my sweet and cakey love xo

Nicole
